Botanical name:Ajuga reptans

This colorful ground cover will grow in shade or sun with slightly moist soil. It is an evergreen with purplish rosettes that spread quickly on purplish stems. Blue bloom spikes cover these plants in April and May, and are 6"-8" when blooming. This versatile ground cover can also be used in shady wildflower beds.

The Striped Society Garlic is a garlic-scented perennial with green narrow leaves that have white margins to 1' tall. The flowers are lavender clusters on a 1'-2' stem that bloom in the spring and summer. This perennial is drought tolerant.

Big Blue Lily Turf

Common name:Big Blue Lily Turf
Botanical name:Liriope muscari

Grass-like clumps of dark green leaves 1" wide up to 18" long are found on the Liriope muscari. It can reach a height of 12"-15", and dark blue flowers spikes can be seen held above the leaves during the summer. This is an excellent border, accent or ground cover plant that requires part shade exposure.

Lily of the Nile

Botanical name:Agapanthus hybrids

This evergreen ground cover/shrub will grow about 3' tall and has large green leaves with blue flowers (there is a white variety and dwarf varieties) that bloom in spring and summer. It will grow in all soils but prefers loam soil.
